Customers benefit from a user-friendly online ordering platform, dedicated support from experienced sales managers, and an efficient nationwide logistics network that ensures prompt and reliable delivery.Role Description</strong> The Territory Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Wellington, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the individual will manage and grow a defined territory by building strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting A1 Safety & Packaging’s product range. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting sales calls and visits, preparing quotes and proposals, following up on leads, and ensuring customer orders and inquiries are handled promptly and accurately. The Territory Executive will collaborate closely with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to provide a seamless experience and maintain high service standards. Regular reporting on sales activities, market trends, and competitor insights will be required to help shape territory strategy and contribute to overall business growth. This role is specifically and heavily involved in the FMCG sector.Qualifications Proven experience in territory management, field sales, or account management within B2B environments, ideally in packaging, consumables, or related industries.Strong relationship-building, customer service, and negotiation skills to engage diverse clients across retail, industrial, and commercial sectors.Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain product features and value clearly and confidently.Competence in using CRM systems, online ordering platforms, and basic office software to manage pipelines, orders, and reporting.Ability to plan routes and schedules efficiently, work independently, and balance on-site visits with remote work responsibilities.Comfort with consultative selling, identifying customer needs, and proposing tailored solutions that align with sustainability and cost-effectiveness goals.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Wellington territory and occasionally beyond as required.Relevant qualification in sales, business, or a related field is advantageous, though equivalent experience will be considered.Knowledge of the New Zealand market and an interest in sustainable packaging and disposable solutions are beneficial.
