Apply & track with Apply EdgeTest Administrator / Examination ProctorAbout The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Test Administrator / Examination Proctor to administer and proctor military, educational, and professional certification examinations for military personnel, Department of Defense civilians, and eligible family members.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and controlled testing environment, accurately administering a variety of standardized examinations, verifying candidate identification, maintaining testing records, and ensuring all testing procedures and security requirements are followed.This position is well suited for an individual with experience in military education, testing centers, certification examinations, educational assessment, or other environments where strict testing protocols and confidentiality are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and proctor a variety of standardized military, educational, language, and professional certification examinations.Support examinations such as military professional development and end-of-course testing, language proficiency examinations, FAA examinations, typing assessments, and other standardized tests.Check in examinees and verify identification and eligibility prior to testing.Explain testing procedures, rules, and requirements to examinees.Maintain a secure and controlled testing environment.Safeguard examination materials, test equipment, and other controlled testing resources.Maintain accurate test logs, records, and examination inventories.Enter and maintain testing information in designated education and examination management systems.Monitor testing sessions to ensure compliance with established procedures.Report testing irregularities or security concerns according to established protocols.Maintain confidentiality of examination materials and candidate information.Provide professional and courteous customer service to military personnel, civilian employees, family members, and other examinees.Perform administrative and data-entry duties associated with testing operations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Experience administering, proctoring, or supporting standardized educational, military, professional, or certification examinations.Familiarity with military terminology and organizational structures, preferably Air Force terminology.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including:Microsoft WordMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPointMicrosoft OutlookStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures precisely.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling controlled testing materials.Ability to successfully complete required background screening and obtain the credentials/access necessary to perform the position.Preferred QualificationsThe following experience is highly desirable:Previous experience working in an Education Center, Testing Center, or Test Control Facility.Military education or training experience.Experience with FAA testing.Experience with Defense Language Institute (DLI) testing.Experience with Air Force testing or education management systems.Experience working with Pearson VUE, PSI, or other professional testing organizations.Experience supporting military personnel, Department of Defense employees, or military families.Skills & AttributesThe Ideal Candidate Will BeHighly organized and detail-orientedComfortable enforcing testing rules and security proceduresProfessional and customer-service orientedDependable and punctualComfortable working with individuals from diverse backgroundsProficient with computers and data-entry systemsAble to work independently while following established policies and proceduresTrustworthy and comfortable handling confidential and controlled informationEducation VerificationCandidates must be able to provide documentation verifying the required bachelor's degree.
