Test Analyst | Digital Testing

JOB SUMMARYThis role plays a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and user experience of digital products and services throughout the software development lifecycle. The role is responsible for planning, preparing, executing, and reporting testing activities across user acceptance testing (UAT), regression, sanity, beta and live testing.In addition to manual testing, the role is expected to possess hands-on experience in test automation using tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium or similar technologies to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and release readiness. The role also requires familiarity with emerging AI-assisted testing tools and practices to enhance productivity, test design, defect analysis, and test automation development.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare, maintain, and execute test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and automation test scripts (where applicable), while ensuring testing prerequisites, test data, and test environments are ready to support effective test execution.Perform end-to-end testing of digital platforms, applications and related systems to ensure business and technical requirements are met.Ensure that testing execution for software/applications/platforms in accordance with established guidelines, supervision, and monitoring requirements.Participate in requirement reviews, sprint ceremonies and project discussions to ensure testability and quality considerations are incorporated early.Analyze and report findings based on test outcomes and user feedback to ensure that the developed software/application/platform remains relevant and meets user requirements and expectations.Support and coordinate all Beta Community Testing activities to gather feedback on pre-release products, including communicating with community members to understand their experiences and recommendations.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to plan, conduct, and report testing activities in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Work closely with the technical team to prepare test scripts and provide relevant information during troubleshooting activities related to identified technical issues.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium, Robot Framework, or equivalent automation tools. Contribute to automation coverage expansion and optimization initiatives to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.Utilize AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to support test case generation, automation script creation, test data preparation, test execution and troubleshooting.Guide and train junior team members to enhance their testing-related skills and capabilities.JOB REQUIREMENTSMalaysian citizen.Passed Bahasa Malaysia (including Oral Test) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.Possess a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification in a related field recognized by the Government.Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.Proficiency in using automation tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium, Robot Framework, Postman, or similar tools.Practical experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar solutions to support test case generation, automation script development, test execution, defect analysis, test documentation and test data preparation.In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience working in cross-functional Scrum / product development teams.Experience in projects involving digital platforms or digital service delivery.Additional relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Agile Tester, Scrum Master, or other equivalent qualifications are an advantage.Ability to provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members on testing methodologies, tools, processes, and industry best practices.JOB STATUSPermanentAll applications are strictly CONFIDENTIAL and only shortlisted candidates will be called in for interview.
