Job Title: Test Engineer - Engine DynamometerLocation: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite) Duration: Long-Term Contract - 12 Months+ Contract Pay Rate: $40 - $42/hour on W2 + BenefitsJob SummaryWe are seeking a Test Engineer - Engine Dynamometer to support engine performance development, combustion testing, and durability validation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with engine testing, data collection, and analysis in a laboratory or dynamometer environment.ResponsibilitiesExecute engine dynamometer tests to validate performance, combustion, and durability attributes.Collect, process, and analyze test data.Support engine calibration and development activities.Review test plans and conduct testing according to defined procedures.Prepare reports and communicate test results to cross-functional teams.Troubleshoot test issues and provide data-driven recommendations.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Experience with engine combustion development testing and calibration.Knowledge of internal combustion engine operation and engine systems.Experience with engine testing, instrumentation, and data acquisition.Strong data collection and reporting skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in engine mechanical development.Familiarity with engine controls, calibration tools, and data analysis software.Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.GTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
