Test Technician

Required Skills & Experience:• 5+ years of hands-on electronics lab, bench test, or technician experience• Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology, technical certificate, military electronics training, or equivalent hands-on experience• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), bench power supplies, and electronic loads• Ability to read schematics and block diagrams• Experience following written test procedures accurately and methodically• Strong soldering and board-level rework skills (through-hole and basic SMT)• Comfortable using Excel for data collection and reportingNice to Have Skills & Experience:• Exposure to Python scripting (running, modifying, or reading scripts)• Experience with analog or mixed-signal electronics• Familiarity with power supplies, instrumentation hardware, or power electronics• Experience using SMUs, thermal chambers, logic analyzers, or power analyzers• Semiconductor test or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) experience• Manufacturing, validation, repair depot, or production test experience• Fine-pitch SMD rework experience• Test fixture, load board, cable harness, or custom cable assembly experience• Jira and/or Confluence experience• Calibration management or lab inventory tracking experience• Exposure to structured debugging methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, or basic statistical analysisDay-to-Day:Test Execution• Set up and maintain bench stations (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, electronic loads, SMUs)• Execute validation and test plans; run power-on, continuity, and functional tests• Collect and organize data across voltage, current, load, and temperatureTroubleshooting & Escalation• Identify out-of-spec results and anomalies; escalate issues• Reproduce defects, document failure conditions, support debugging• Confirm fixes and support hardware integrationLab & Docs• Run lab maintenance: calibration, equipment tracking, ESD compliance• Build/modify cables, harnesses, load boards, fixtures; perform soldering and board rework• Update Jira with results, reproduction steps, and status; build reports for engineering reviewCompensation:$26.00 to $36.00
