Test Technician

Job Title: Instruments Test Technician Job Summary:We are seeking an Instruments Test Technician to support production assembly, instrument testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in a medical equipment manufacturing environment. The role will analyze test results, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/software issues, identify defects, and support continuous improvement while maintaining GMP, quality, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Assemble, integrate, test, and troubleshoot moderately complex instruments.Perform functional and release testing and determine pass/fail results.Analyze test data and troubleshoot failures to identify root causes and solutions.Support instrument performance optimization and recommend design/process improvements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, dimensions, and specifications.Provide training and technical guidance to production associates.Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams.Follow GMP, safety, quality, and production procedures.Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements:AA degree in Mechatronics or related field with 0 years of experience, OR 5+ years of electronic, mechanical, or software troubleshooting experience.Experience with mechanical tools such as torque drivers, gauges, and bits.Ability to read drawings and interpret/measure dimensions and requirements.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.Basic PC/Windows skills.Ability to mentor, coach, and support team members.Experience with GMP, quality procedures, or Lean Manufacturing is preferred.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
