From creating intelligent hybrids to building driverless vehicles, evolving existing technologies to discovering new energy storage, our ambition for the future of our vehicles and the industry beyond is endless.About the RoleResponsibilitiesResponsible for changing any faults parts in the car & ensure vehicle is always up-to date.Responsible for ensuring ECUs are upto date with latest SW.Would be responsible for driving while is out for drive test.One point of contact for all activities specific for test car activities – will be enabler for engineering team.Would be responsible for ensuring defined process is followed by engineers for any test/development activities in vehicle fleet.Responsible for managing all precautions & safety measured needed for electric vehicle.Support in overall import/export related activities for test vehicles.Read & understand all topix document to understand the procedure to change the part.Define/understand process & guidelines for vehicle maintenance across location in organisation & across global teams.Engage with various team – SW teams, UK workshop & understand the work packages required to part swap or various part SW update.QualificationsCertificate/course required to work as technician in dealer workshop.Certified Electric vehicle technician.Minimum 7-year experience working in car dealer workshop.Minimum 2-year experience working on Electric vehicle dealer workshop.Holding valid Driving licence and seasoned driving skills.Required SkillsAbility to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision.Good experience of vehicle technician – part change, understanding the fault etc.Good knowledge on tools required to maintain the car.Good knowledge on handling electric car.Experienced & seasoned driving skills – big SUVs & luxury segment is must.Basic knowledge on SW so that various ECU sw update process can be trained.Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Good written & verbal communication skills.Preferred SkillsPrior experience in Car dealer workshop would be added advantage.
