Employment Type: Yearly renewableExperience: 8+ YearsJob Summary:We are looking for a Testing & Commissioning Engineer experienced in GE FACTS systems (SVC, FSC & STATCOM) to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, fault analysis, and reliable operation of FACTS installations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of GE FACTS systems.Troubleshoot thyristor valves, IGBTs, firing circuits, fiber optics, control/protection panels, cooling systems, reactors, capacitors, and harmonic filters.Monitor alarms, system events, and degraded modes.Conduct functional checks of control, protection, and interlock systems.Analyze system trips and faults and perform root cause analysis.Maintain spare parts, maintenance records, and technical reports.Coordinate with GE OEM engineers for complex issues and upgrades.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in FACTS maintenance.Strong experience with GE SVC, FSC & STATCOM.Good knowledge of HV/MV substations, power systems, electrical protection and testing.Valid SEC ID, Saudi Driving License, and WPT C1/C2 certification.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.Strong commitment to safety.If you are interested in for the role, please do drop your CV to Athira.AR@linnk.com
