This position supports the Quality Manager in overseeing asphalt production processes to ensure materials meet required specifications and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring production quality, conducting routine inspections and tests, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective actions when needed. The role also involves collaborating with production teams, maintaining quality control records, supporting compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and helping implement continuous improvement initiatives in asphalt operations.Qualifications Experience or training in quality control or quality assurance within construction, asphalt, or materials production environments.Knowledge of asphalt production processes, material testing procedures, and relevant industry standards or regulations.Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret production and testing data to identify trends and recommend improvements.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation and reports.Effective communication and teamwork skills for working with production crews, management, and external partners.Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with OSHA or similar safety guidelines.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework in construction materials, engineering, or related fields is beneficial.Previous experience in the production of asphalt products or asphalt design is a plus.
