Basil Woods is operated by Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation which is a large-scale meal provider committed to nourishing schools, families, and communities every day.Role Description The TGT English role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghatkesar, Hyderabad. The educator will plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills for middle and high school learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, supporting students with varying learning needs, and collaborating with other teachers and school staff on academic activities. The educator will also participate in school events, parent interactions, and ongoing professional development.Roles & Responsibilities and QualificationsCandidates should possess strong English Teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.Candidates should possess Translation skills to support learners who may need language assistance and to clarify educational content.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to address student and parent queries professionally and empathetically.Candidates should possess Training skills to guide students in language development and support peer or staff learning when required.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.Prior experience teaching English at middle or high school level is highly beneficial.Ability to create inclusive, learner-centered classrooms and familiarity with modern teaching methodologies.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to participate in school and community-focused initiatives. 1. Instruction and Curriculum Development:Design, plan, and deliver engaging lessons in [Specify Science Subjects, e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology].Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods.2. Classroom Management:Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioural issues and promote student engagement.3. Student Support:Provide individual and group support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.Offer guidance and mentorship to students on academic and career matters.4. Collaboration:Work closely with other teachers and staff to integrate science education with other subjects.Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.5. Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.Prepare and submit reports on student performance and academic progress as required.6.
