THAI LAWYER – CORPORATE, IMMIGRATION & CROSS-BORDERFirm: Kshetry & Co.Location: Dubai, U.A.E.Employment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Thailand Legal DeskRole OverviewKshetry & Co. is seeking a qualified Thai Lawyer and Thai Citizen based in Dubai to manage and support Thailand-related legal matters for the firm’s international clientele.The role will focus on Thai corporate and commercial law, immigration and residency, foreign investment, business licensing and cross-border legal matters, while coordinating with Thai authorities, professionals, clients and the firm’s international offices.Key Responsibilities* Advise clients on Thai corporate and commercial law.* Handle company incorporation, restructuring, corporate changes and statutory matters in Thailand.* Draft, review and advise on commercial agreements, corporate documents and legal correspondence.* Advise foreign investors and businesses on Thai foreign ownership restrictions, licensing and regulatory requirements.* Handle and coordinate Thai visa, work permit, immigration and residency matters.* Prepare and review immigration and corporate application documentation.* Liaise with relevant Thai government authorities, regulators, lawyers, accountants and service providers.* Provide legal research, opinions, reports and practical legal solutions.* Support Thailand–U.A.E. and other cross-border transactions and corporate structuring.* Coordinate Thailand-related matters with the firm’s India, U.A.E., UK, USA and other international offices.* Conduct client consultations and maintain professional client relationships.* Monitor changes in Thai corporate, commercial and immigration laws and procedures.* Support development and expansion of the firm’s Thailand Legal Desk and business opportunities.* Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with applicable professional and ethical requirements.Key Performance ExpectationsPerformance will be assessed on:* Quality and accuracy of legal advice.* Timely completion of client matters.* Quality of legal drafting and research.* Effective handling of corporate and immigration matters.* Client communication and satisfaction.* Government and professional coordination.* Successful management of cross-border assignments.* Ability to independently manage Thailand-related matters.* Contribution to development of the Thailand practice.Mandatory Requirements* Thai Citizen.* Qualified Lawyer in Thailand.* Recognised Thai legal qualification.* Strong knowledge of Thai Corporate & Commercial Law.* Practical knowledge of Thai Immigration, Visa, Work Permit and Residency procedures.* Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.* Excellent Thai and English communication skills.* Ability to work independently and within a multi-jurisdictional legal team.Preferred ExperienceExperience in corporate law, foreign investment, business licensing, immigration, work permits, residency, cross-border transactions and international client advisory will be preferred.Primary Objective:To establish and manage a strong Thailand-focused legal practice from the Dubai office, providing reliable Thai legal, corporate, immigration and cross-border support to international clients.
