Blockchain Engineering Intern (Ethereum / Web3 Infrastructure)Company: World Trade Factory (SKXYWTF)Location: Remote / HybridType: This is an Unpaid Internship starting immediatelyAbout the RoleWorld Trade Factory is building next-generation digital infrastructure at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and global markets. We are looking for a Blockchain Engineer to help design, build, and test smart-contract-based systems and supporting infrastructure in an educational, research-driven, and production-oriented environment.This role focuses on engineering, security, and architecture — not hype or speculation.What You’ll Work OnDesign and develop smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chainsImplement and test ERC standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 as needed)Build token utility and staking logic (testnet-first, security-focused)Integrate smart contracts with off-chain systems (APIs, indexers, dashboards)Write automated tests and conduct basic security reviewsSupport on-chain analytics, event indexing, and data pipelinesDocument contract behavior, assumptions, and upgrade pathsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong proficiency in Solidity and EVM fundamentalsSolid understanding of Ethereum architecture, gas mechanics, and transactionsExperience with smart contract testing frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle)Familiarity with web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js)Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow, access control)Comfortable working with Git and code reviewsNice to HaveExperience with Layer 2s (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon)Familiarity with tokenomics modeling (emissions, incentives, staking design)Exposure to on-chain analytics (The Graph, Dune, custom indexers)Backend experience (Node.js, Python)Prior security auditing or formal verification exposureWhat We Care AboutEngineering discipline over hypeClear documentation and reproducibilitySecurity-first mindsetAbility to reason about incentives and edge casesComfort working in early-stage, research-heavy environmentsFor Students / Interns (OPT / CPT Eligible)Project-based, academically aligned workTestnet and simulation-focused developmentNo fundraising, token sales, or solicitation activitiesResponsibilities aligned with computer science, engineering, or blockchain courseworkWhat We OfferWork on real blockchain infrastructure — not demosMentorship and exposure to AI + macro research systemsFlexible work structure (remote-friendly)Opportunity to grow into long-term or paid roles as we scale
