ADATC is Hiring!Abu Dhabi Aviation Training Center is seeking a qualified Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to join our Training Department. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical aviation training, developing course materials, conducting assessments and examinations, maintaining training records, and ensuring compliance with GCAA and applicable international aviation regulations.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of future aviation professionals by delivering engaging classroom instruction, enhancing training programs, and ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance, safety, and training excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver approved theoretical aviation and technical training courses in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.Develop, update, and maintain training materials, course outlines, lesson plans, instructional aids, and courseware.Conduct examinations, assessments, and evaluations to measure student performance and competency.Monitor trainee progress and recommend remedial training where required.Maintain accurate training, attendance, examination, and certification records.Ensure consistency, quality, and effectiveness of training delivery throughout the course lifecycle.Support the development and continuous improvement of training curriculum and programs.Coordinate training schedules, examination plans, and ground training activities with operational requirements.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of technical training content.Support internal and external audits, quality assurance activities, and compliance reviews.Maintain personal instructional qualifications and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.Promote and support safety, quality, environmental, and operational excellence initiatives.Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, customers, and internal stakeholders as required.Ideal Candidate Will HaveMust have:Engineering Degree or equivalent technical qualification.Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1.1, B1.3, or B2).Methods of Instruction (MOI) Certificate.Training & Assessment Certificate.Minimum of 3 years' experience developing computer-based training courseware.Experience delivering technical instruction and training in a structured learning environment.Knowledge of theoretical aviation training requirements and local aviation regulations.Good knowledge of aviation technical subjects.Excellent instructional, presentation, and facilitation skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality, and safety standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Good to have:Master's, or higher qualification in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.Aircraft Type Certification.Knowledge of Training Manuals, Training Syllabi, and Approved Training Organization (ATO) requirements.Previous experience within an airline, aviation training organization, MRO, or wider aviation industry.At least 5 years' experience (or 2 years with an Engineering degree) as an instructor or examiner in a relevant technical discipline.Knowledge of national and international aviation regulations, including GCAA, EASA, and FAA requirements.Arabic language proficiency.If you are passionate about aviation training and committed to developing the next generation of aviation professionals, we encourage you to apply and become part of ADATC's journey toward training excellence
