Tier 1 SOC Analyst | Cybersecurity Operations

About the RoleLinearStack is looking for a motivated Tier 1 SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team in Chandigarh–Mohali.You’ll work in a hands-on SOC/NOC environment, monitoring security alerts, investigating incidents, supporting network and system issues, and escalating threats when required.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their cybersecurity career and gain practical experience across security and network operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor security, network, and system alerts across SOC and NOC platforms.Triage and investigate security and infrastructure incidents.Perform initial troubleshooting and determine incident severity and priority.Escalate incidents according to defined procedures.Monitor and manage SOC/NOC support queues.Perform scheduled security and infrastructure health checks.Maintain accurate incident and ticket documentation.Support threat analysis and basic threat-hunting activities.Work with internal and external teams during incident resolution.Participate in a 24x7 rotating shift roster, including nights, weekends, and holidays.What We’re Looking ForDegree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience/training.Basic understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and incident response.Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, or threat intelligence concepts is an advantage.PowerShell, Linux/Unix command line, or scripting knowledge is desirable.Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar are an advantage, but candidates currently working towards certification are welcome.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Willingness to work on-site in Chandigarh–Mohali and within a 24x7 rotational roster.What We OfferHands-on experience across SOC and NOC operations.Exposure to modern cybersecurity and infrastructure technologies.Career development, mentorship, and learning opportunities.A supportive team environment focused on professional growth.Interested in building your career in cybersecurity?
