Director of Sourcing/Strategic Procurement - Chemical/Raw Materials (Global Sourcing)Direct Hire/PermLOCATION: Memphis, TN (Work is ONSITE, NO Remote or Hybrid options at this time)RELOCATION ASSISTANCE is availableWe have a role open on our Supply Chain team, for a key leadership position within the Procurement team that will focus on developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies that maximize business performance across our global footprint, specifically as the responsible leader, directing the organizations global chemical raw material spend and setting global category strategies.The key focus for this senior manager will be on leveraging spending, utilizing strategic sourcing, category management and supplier performance management processes and tools to deliver maximum value while managing risk.This role will have approximately 5-6 direct reports and will remain VERY hands on with regards to vendor/supplier communications, internal team planning and scheduling, and will work from the strategic level, with regards to the Sourcing, Qualification and leadership of the Chemical and other Raw material category spend.  Day-to-day duties will include:Development and execution of global sourcing strategies for critical direct materials and manufacturing inputsWorking with company leadership to develop, plan and implement long-term category plans that align market opportunities with organizational objectives.Working as a subject matter expert to evaluate/analyze supply markets, industry trends, pricing drivers, and competitive dynamics to support sourcing decisions.Direct teams and personally lead strategic sourcing events, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.Work directly and with teams to determine KPIs to drive supplier selection, qualification, onboarding, and replacement initiatives.We are targeting a senior procurement/supply chain professional with a history of hands on day to day and strategic team and project leadership, along with ideally as much of the following :EDUCATION:  Ideally seeking those with bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related with PRIOIRITY consideration being given to those with MBA or other advanced business degrees.EXPERIENCE - Seeking an Senior pro, with 10 or more years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or commercial leadership roles.Demonstrated success developing and implementing global category management strategies.Strong background negotiating complex commercial contracts with large enterprise suppliers.Significant experience sourcing direct materials within industrial, specialty manufacturing, process manufacturing, or related sectorsGlobal category management experience across multiple international markets.Previous TEAM LEADERSHIP and TEAM MANAGEMENT Experience, with an ability to mentor, train, direct and LEAD FROM THE FRONT.STRONG COLLABORATION and COMMUNICATION SKILLS, with a proven ability to deliver measurable business results through sourcing initiatives and supplier management programs.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.Experience working with technology tools, including ERP systems and digital procurement platforms and an ability to adapt, learn where they don't have experience and to identify opportunities for improvement, and new tool evaluation when applicable.Similar comfort and experience utilizing spend analytics, procurement technology, and supplier performance management tools.PLEASE apply to this role directly here via this link and email me at russ.holland@cybecoders.com for consideration and let's discuss your career goals, and this opportunity and company to see if this is a solid match for all! BenefitsVacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k Bonus Relocation Telecommute  Email Your Resume In Word ToRuss.Holland@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
