Our teams collaborate across production, artists, venues, technical operations, logistics, finance, marketing, security, hospitality, and external partners to deliver successful tours and large-scale live events.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Tour Production Manager to lead the production planning, logistics, technical coordination, and operational execution of touring productions across multiple cities and venues.The successful candidate will manage the full production lifecycle from advance planning and budgeting through rehearsals, travel, venue load-in, show execution, load-out, transportation, and final tour closeout. The role requires exceptional organization, technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to make fast decisions in complex live-event environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive tour production plans, schedules, budgets, and operational procedures.Lead production planning from initial tour routing through final event closeout.Coordinate production requirements across multiple cities, venues, countries, and event dates.Develop detailed tour itineraries covering travel, rehearsals, load-ins, sound checks, performances, load-outs, and travel days.Coordinate venue advances and confirm technical, logistical, operational, and production requirements.Review venue specifications, technical riders, production requirements, stage dimensions, access limitations, and local regulations.Manage stage, audio, lighting, video, rigging, power, special effects, communications, and other technical requirements.Coordinate artist, performer, crew, management, promoter, venue, and production requirements.Manage technical riders and ensure venue capabilities meet tour requirements.Identify technical gaps and arrange appropriate local equipment, labor, or specialist support.Coordinate international and domestic transportation of production equipment and personnel.Develop freight, trucking, air-freight, customs, and equipment-movement plans where applicable.Coordinate production trucks, buses, vans, drivers, couriers, freight providers, and local transportation.Manage tour equipment inventories, manifests, packing plans, and equipment tracking.Coordinate customs documentation, temporary imports, permits, visas, and other tour-related requirements where applicable.Manage production suppliers, rental companies, local crews, contractors, and technical service providers.Negotiate supplier scopes, pricing, schedules, service levels, and technical requirements.Monitor vendor performance, quality, costs, and delivery.Develop and maintain production budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, and expense controls.Monitor actual expenditure against approved tour budgets.Identify cost-saving opportunities while protecting safety, quality, and production standards.Coordinate rehearsals, technical rehearsals, production meetings, sound checks, and show calls.Develop daily production schedules and communicate critical timings to all relevant teams.Lead production meetings before and during tour dates.Coordinate venue load-in, setup, testing, show operation, changeovers, and load-out.Ensure production equipment is installed, tested, operated, and dismantled safely.Coordinate stagehands, riggers, technicians, local crew, security, drivers, and other production personnel.Ensure appropriate staffing levels for each venue and production requirement.Coordinate with venue operations and promoters to resolve production constraints.Manage production-related emergencies, delays, technical failures, transportation disruptions, and schedule changes.Develop contingency plans for equipment failures, travel disruptions, venue issues, severe weather, and other operational risks.Ensure compliance with venue requirements, occupational safety standards, technical regulations, and local laws.Conduct production risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures.Maintain emergency contacts, escalation procedures, communication protocols, and operational contingency plans.Coordinate backstage, dressing-room, artist-support, hospitality, catering, and production-office requirements.Work with tour management to maintain efficient communication between production and artist teams.Monitor daily tour performance, operational issues, schedule adherence, and production costs.Maintain accurate tour documentation including schedules, technical specifications, contact lists, equipment manifests, and production reports.Track equipment movements and ensure all assets are accounted for throughout the tour.Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, servicing, and emergency rentals.Conduct post-show reviews and document operational issues and lessons learned.Manage final equipment returns, freight, supplier reconciliation, and tour closeout.Prepare final production reports covering costs, incidents, supplier performance, and operational outcomes.Develop standardized tour-production procedures, checklists, templates, and playbooks.Recruit, brief, supervise, and support touring production personnel.Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and operational successful candidate should have strong experience in tour production, concert production, live entertainment, festival production, event production, venue operations, or large-scale touring environments.The candidate should demonstrate:Proven experience managing multi-city or international tours.Strong understanding of live-event production and touring operations.Experience coordinating audio, lighting, video, staging, rigging, power, and technical production.Strong knowledge of venue advancing and technical rider requirements.Experience managing production schedules, budgets, logistics, and operational documentation.Strong supplier, rental-company, contractor, and local-crew management skills.Experience coordinating freight, trucking, travel, customs, and equipment logistics.Strong understanding of live-event health and safety requirements.Experience managing high-pressure environments and rapidly changing schedules.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making
