Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition : TQM Team MemberLocation : Pune, Maharashtra and Hosur, Tamil NaduRole PurposeThe role will lead organisation-wide improvement initiatives, build a culture of operational excellence, conduct assessments and audits, and partner with manufacturing leadership to improve quality, productivity, cost, delivery and overall operational performance.Key Responsibilities• Drive deployment and sustenance of TQM and TPM frameworks across manufacturing locations.• Lead Business Excellence initiatives focused on Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Productivity and Employee Involvement.• Facilitate Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement projects to eliminate waste and improve process capability.• Conduct Business Excellence, TPM and process audits to assess maturity and identify improvement opportunities.• Develop roadmaps for operational excellence and monitor implementation through measurable KPIs.• Coach plant leadership and cross functional teams on Lean, TPM and quality improvement methodologies.• Drive problem solving using structured methodologies such as PDCA, Kaizen, A3, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA and Statistical Tools.• Lead benchmarking and best practice deployment across manufacturing facilities.• Build capability through training, workshops and mentoring of plant teams.• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering teams to drive sustainable improvements.• Monitor progress of improvement projects and present periodic reviews to senior leadership.• Support organisational transformation initiatives and culture-building programmes aligned to Business Excellence.Desired Candidate Profile• 7+ years of relevant experience in Business Excellence, TQM or TPM.• Must currently be working in a core TQM, TPM or Business Excellence function.• Experience in large manufacturing operations with more than 2,000 employees.• Exposure to high volume mass production and complex manufacturing environments.• Experience with Japanese manufacturing organisations, Automotive OEMs or reputed Tier 1 automotive suppliers will be preferred.• Candidates with a combination of industry experience and approximately 3 years in consulting or auditing roles will be highly preferred.• Professional certifications in TQM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis or related Business Excellence methodologies will be preferred.Educational Qualification• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.• Post Graduate qualification in Operations or Business Management will be an advantage.
