Position Overview:The Maintenance Operative executes the maintenance of the track and works effectively and efficiently as a member of the team.Roles and Responsibility:Undertakes preventive, corrective, emergency maintenance and repair work as required, in the following fields:Spot re-railingSpot re-sleeperingCutting railTurnout replacement and repairSand removalOther general track maintenance activitiesAcademic Qualifications: School Certificate or equivalentProfessional Qualifications: Recognized knowledge of track maintenanceFull driving licenseExperience: Relevant industry experienceOther Skills: English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skillsAbility to work in a multicultural team
