To learn more, visit https://www.griting.aiROLE CONTEXTPosition OverviewWe are seeking a careful and reliable Trade Accounting & Bookkeeping Coordinator to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records connected with purchase orders, sales orders, shipments, freight, customs duties, warehousing, supplier payments, and customer collections.The position may be filled at the Accounting Assistant or Accounting Coordinator level depending on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, supplier payments and collections follow-up.Reconcile purchase orders, sales orders, commercial invoices, shipment records, and payment records.Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment platforms, and expense accounts.Review invoices from freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and logistics providers.Assist with landed-cost calculations, including product cost, freight, duties, insurance, and warehousing.Maintain records for deposits, wire transfers, reimbursements, contractor payments, and supporting documents.Identify duplicate charges, missing receipts, inaccurate invoices, and inconsistent transactions.Prepare periodic bookkeeping summaries and support month-end and year-end closing.Organize records for external CPAs, tax preparers, auditors, payroll providers, and management.QualificationsAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Bookkeeping, accounting, AP, AR, trade-finance, logistics-accounting, or related experience is preferred.Candidates with 2+ years of accounting experience in import/export, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or cross-border business will receive priority.Strong recent graduates may be considered with relevant academic training and internship or practical experience.Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting platform.Understanding of debits, credits, invoices, payments, reconciliations, and expense records.Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.Mandarin-English bilingual ability is preferred.Technology & AI ReadinessProficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel or Google Sheets is required.Familiarity with ERP, expense-management, and payment systems is preferred.Approved AI tools may support data review and reporting, but all accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial outputs must be independently verified.Employees are expected to use modern business software and approved digital tools effectively. AI-assisted work must be independently reviewed for accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.Confidential company, customer, supplier, pricing, contract, financial, shipment, employee, or personal information must not be entered into public or unapproved AI tools.BenefitsStandard company benefits package.Annual BonusEligible employees may be considered for an annual performance-based bonus based on individual and company performance.
