Senior Non-Key Expert – Trade & InvestmentNTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Downtown Facility.”The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Trade & Investment to support technical assistance assignments related to trade and investment policy, investment climate, private sector development, market access, economic competitiveness, and EU-Egypt economic cooperation.Qualifications and SkillsMaster’s degree in economics, international trade, business, finance, development studies, or a related field.English: C1 level.Arabic is desirable.French is an asset.Professional ExperienceAt least 7 years of relevant professional experience.Experience in trade, investment, private-sector development and/or business-environment reform.Experience preparing market studies, investment analyses, feasibility studies and policy recommendations.Good knowledge of trade and investment policy and private-sector development instruments.Experience in Egypt/MENA desirable.Experience providing training, capacity building sessions is desired.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply and upload your CV via LinkedIn or send to recruitment@ntu.eu.
