Trade Compliance Manager | Aviation | Memphis, TNAbout the Job:A well-established international aviation business is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to support its US import and export activities.This is a hands-on opportunity for a trade compliance professional with strong technical expertise who can own day-to-day compliance activities while contributing to the continued development and improvement of the wider trade compliance programme. Operating in a complex international aviation environment, you will work across customs, export controls, commodity classification, licensing and sanctions, partnering with legal, operational and other stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and continuously improve trade compliance policies, procedures and internal controlsMonitor import and export transactions to ensure compliance with relevant requirementsManage commodity classification and trade compliance codingSupport export licensing and the application of licence exceptionsEnsure compliance with EAR, OFAC, FTR and US customs requirementsReview sanctions, destination and end-user restrictionsSupport drop shipments, routed transactions and international shipping activitiesConduct internal compliance reviews and support audit activityMonitor regulatory developments and implement required changesPartner cross-functionally to improve compliance processes and operational effectivenessProvide guidance and training on trade compliance matters

Qualifications
