Brady Corporation is seeking an experienced and strategic Trade Compliance Manager to lead all aspects of trade compliance across our Mexico operations. In this role, you will lead our Compliance and Import/Export team, serve as an internal advisor on Mexican and U.S. customs regulations, and oversee cross-border logistics for our facilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the Trade Compliance and Import/Export staff, overseeing cross-border coordination, department projects, and team performance.Ensure all international business activities fully comply with Mexican Customs regulations, IMMEX requirements, and USMCA/Free Trade Agreements.Serve as a subject matter expert for US trade compliance issues (FDA, AES, 7501, 9801, Section 301, HAZMAT, Reconciliation) and advise all Brady Mexico business units.Direct internal and external trade compliance audits to ensure audit readiness and resolve binding rulings and regulatory inquiries.AOversee automated compliance solutions (ERP/SAP, Ixport/Anexo 24) to maintain accurate databases, HTS classifications, and valuations.Partner with Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align compliance strategies, support M&A integrations, and meet corporate operational goals.Develop and deliver trade compliance training programs across all organizational levels and identify cost-saving/cost-avoidance initiatives.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in International Logistics, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or equivalent combination of education and experience.7+ years of progressive experience in a trade compliance role, with a strong background in leadership (Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager).Expert-level knowledge of Mexican Customs regulations, IMMEX, Anexo 24 (Ixport), HTS classification, and rules of origin.Intermediate to strong knowledge of US Trade Compliance regulations and cross-border processes.Experience with Free Trade Agreements (USMCA, EUR1, LATAM, etc.).Deep hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite.Strong project management, analytical, and audit capabilities.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Professional accreditation in trade compliance is highly preferred.
