MAGHCO is committed to building long-term, value-driven partnerships that power global industries.Role Description This is a full-time Trade Finance Specialist role based in Riyadh with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Trade Finance Specialist will manage and structure trade finance instruments for international energy and petrochemical transactions, including letters of credit and related documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing and validating trade documents, ensuring compliance with international trade rules and banking regulations, and coordinating with banks, suppliers, and internal teams to secure timely financing and payment flows. The role involves monitoring transaction risk, advising commercial teams on optimal trade finance solutions, and supporting contract negotiations from a finance perspective. The specialist will also contribute to process improvements, reporting, and internal controls to support efficient and compliant trade operations.Qualifications Strong trade finance expertise, including practical experience with Trade Finance structures and Letters of Credit.Sound understanding of international trade rules and standards, including working knowledge of UCP 600.Finance and Business Relationship Management skills to support commercial decision-making and stakeholder coordination.Experience collaborating with banks, suppliers, and internal teams in cross-border transactions, preferably in energy or petrochemicals.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certification in trade finance or banking is an advantage.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with trade finance or ERP systems.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an asset.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple deadlines, and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
