For our Heidelberg office, we are looking for a highly talented individual as a;Trade ManagerResponsibilities:Facilitating procurement and sales activities related to cementitious and other associated dry bulk commodities for the designated market areas.Support the Trading department by handling day-to-day commercial and operational activities such as deal operations, deal structuring activities, freight rate analysis, internal approvals, offer preparation, and market research.Key account management, expanding ownership with existing clients and suppliers and taking ownership of business development initiatives for all product lines.Liaise with suppliers, buyers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders across different time zones.Monitor deal pipelines and maintain accurate records within CRM systems.Manage contract administration, documentation processes, and compliance checks.Ensure the fulfilment of contractual obligations for HM Trading and maintain high levels of supplier satisfaction.Handle invoicing activities and resolving operational issues.Work closely with Shipping and Trade Operations departments to ensure smooth execution of transactions.Collecting and presenting international market insights to aid the Trading department in planning and development by researching and analysing customs, trade, and market data.Expanding relationships with existing clients and taking ownership of business development initiatives to onboard new clients.Analyse new business opportunities and market developments.Requirements:Excellent command of English is required: IELTS score of 8.0 or higher is preferred. French language knowledge of B2 or above would be highly preferred. The ideal candidate must be comfortable conducting business in French.5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in dry bulk materials trading. Strong understanding of cementitious and other associated dry bulk commodities is highly valued.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, engineering, economics, international trade, foreign trade, or a related field.Willingness to travel extensively to West and North Africa and ability to work flexibly and coordinate across multiple zones.Proficient in MS Excel (including advanced formulas and reporting) and MS Word.Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is an advantage.Proficiency in utilizing AI tools, including agentic AI, to support analysis and decision-making is a plus.Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders through professional work and projects, with a demonstrated track record of being proactive, adaptable, and results-driven.High-achieving, task-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapts effectively to changing priorities.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions in situations with limited information or ambiguity.Collaborative team player and effective communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders and decision-makers through data-driven insights and factual reasoning.We thank all applicants for their interest, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.All applications will be kept strictly confidential.
