The team manages substantial trade mark portfolios across multiple jurisdictions and is looking to add an experienced administrator who can provide high quality support across a busy and varied workload. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage deadlines are particularly valued.The successful candidate will have solid experience supporting trade mark portfolios and a good understanding of trade mark formalities. You will play an important role in maintaining accurate portfolio records, monitoring deadlines and supporting the wider team with portfolio management, audits and client related work.ResponsibilitiesManage trade mark records and ensure key deadlines, actions and correspondence are accurately recordedReview correspondence from IP offices, overseas representatives and clients, identifying any required follow upSupport the transfer and onboarding of new trade mark portfolios, including checking and validating existing dataAssist with portfolio audits and due diligence exercises across different jurisdictionsPrepare and maintain trade mark documentation, reports and standard correspondenceCarry out quality checks and help maintain consistent processes across the teamSupport colleagues with more complex administrative matters and share knowledge where appropriateHelp coordinate workloads and ensure time sensitive tasks are completed within required deadlinesWork with colleagues and external contacts across different jurisdictions to resolve administrative and portfolio queriesRequirementsPrevious experience in a trade mark administration or formalities focused roleStrong understanding of trade mark procedures and the practical requirements involved in maintaining international portfoliosExperience working with sizeable or multinational trade mark portfoliosConfident managing deadlines and prioritising competing demandsStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to record keepingGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong general IT skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working independently while contributing effectively within a wider teamAble to handle confidential information appropriatelyExperience with trade mark docketing systems would be advantageousCITMA qualification or relevant CITMA training would be beneficialExperience using WebTMS or similar IP management software would also be advantageous
