Trade Operations Manager

About the RoleOur client is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Trade Operations Manager (Russian Speaker) to lead strategic growth initiatives and originate new business opportunities across international markets.About the Requirements Minimum 3–6 years of experience in physical commodity trading. Proven track record of closing international deals, strong negotiation skills, and understanding of commercial risks. Knowledge of import/export processes, logistics, and key Incoterms. Experience working with contracts, Letters of Credit, invoices, and shipping documents. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros).Fluent English and Russian — mandatory (business correspondence and negotiations). Proactive, well-structured, and able to work in a multitasking international environment. Willingness to travel, participate in industry meetings, and visit production sites.About YouFull-cycle physical commodity trading (in line with the company’s portfolio, primarily bulk coal). Participation in negotiations and support of contract conclusion and execution: pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and risk management.Close coordination with logistics, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure timely deal execution. Monitoring and analysis of market conditions: prices, supply/demand, and competitor activity. Maintaining trading models and analytics in Excel; working closely with risk management and finance teams to monitor P&L. Contributing to the development of new markets, products, and regional strategies.
