Trade Support Officer - Energy Trading

Description This is a leading global commodities trading house with an extensive international trading network across energy and other commodity markets. They are looking to hire a Trade Support Officer to join their established team and provide operational support for their energy trading business in Singapore.RoleReporting to Head of Trade Support. The role will oversee the post-trade process by ensuring trade details, costs, and fees are accurately reconciled between the company's ETRM system, counterparties, brokers, and exchanges. The role responsibilities include preparing and issuing trade confirmations, contracts, and invoices, resolving trade discrepancies, and approving broker invoices for payment. The role also manages the settlement and inventory of carbon emission credits across various registries, ensuring accurate reconciliation with internal records. Additionally, the role monitors counterparty credit exposure, trading limits, collateral positions, and margin calls, administers user access and trading parameters on exchanges such as ICE, CME, and SGX, contributes to the implementation of new business products as a subject matter expert, and ensures operational processes remain compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in middle/back office within the oil and commodities sector, with strong reconciliation skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel.
