The firm has assembled an exceptional team of engineers, traders and investment professionals from some of the world’s leading hedge funds and trading firms, with significant investment going into its technology and trading infrastructure.This is an opportunity to join at a very early stage of the fund’s growth in Abu Dhabi, working directly alongside Engineering and Trading in an environment where technology is fundamental to the business and individuals can have genuine ownership and impact.They are looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to take ownership of the stability, performance and reliability of critical production trading systems.Key areas:Linux/Unix production environmentsFIX protocol, exchange connectivity & market dataPython & Bash automationProduction monitoring & incident managementSQL & database investigationTCP/IP, multicast & network troubleshootingMonitoring, observability & log analysisClose interaction with Engineering and Trading teamsIdeally, you’ll have 3+ years of experience supporting trading systems and a strong background in Linux, FIX and troubleshooting within an electronic trading environment.Relocation to Abu Dhabi is available for the right candidate.Get in touch if you’d like to hear more about the fund, team and opportunity.
