This global success is made possible by the commitment and talent of more than 46,000 employees worldwide.As Trading EMEA Advisor - Special Cements, Cementitious & Other Raw Materials, you will play a key role in managing the allocation of surplus capacity and sourcing requirements of cementitious products and raw materials across EMEA. You will drive trading activities, develop strategic supplier and customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support the execution of the regional trading strategy while ensuring optimal profitability and supply security for Cemex operations.Be part of this amazing team!Main Responsibilities / FunctionsExecute the sales and purchase of cementitious products and other raw materials across EMEA, ensuring alignment with country requirements and annual trading objectives.Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Shipping, Operations, and Planning teams to optimize import and export flows and ensure operational excellence.Create and execute the annual strategic agenda for Cementitious and Other Raw Materials in EMEA, establishing objectives, priorities, and action plans.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, customers, traders, industry analysts, and key market stakeholders.Identify and execute new business opportunities, including new products, markets, trading initiatives, and investment opportunities.Conduct market intelligence and market research to support regional and global trading strategies.Analyze availability, demand trends, and market developments for cementitious products and raw materials across the region.Negotiate commercial agreements, supply contracts, and purchasing conditions to maximize profitability and secure product availability.Oversee transfer pricing, contractual performance, dispute resolution, and compliance with Trading Guidelines.Support the strategic roadmap for NCCM and DRM products by coordinating with regional and global stakeholders.Academic BackgroundBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, International Business, or related fields.MBA or Master's Degree in International Business is considered a plus.LanguagesFluent English and Spanish.Portuguese and/or French will be considered an advantage.Professional ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Trading, Commercial, Planning, or Supply Chain functions within an international environment.Experience in cement, cementitious products, raw materials, commodities, or related industrial sectors is highly valued.Previous managerial or leadership experience is preferred.Proven track record in developing international business opportunities and managing complex stakeholder relationships.Key Knowledge and SkillsStrong negotiation and commercial acumen.Knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, payment instruments, and commodity trading practices.Experience working in multicultural and international environments.Market intelligence and strategic business development capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities across different regions and time zones.Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.High level of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and cultural awareness.Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.Willingness to travel extensively across the region.Cemex Diversity and Inclusion Commitment Cemex is committed to providing an ethical, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
