Trading Operations Specialist

About the RoleOur client is a well-established commodity trading house with a strong presence in the metals space. They are looking for a Trade Operations Specialist to join their Trade Operations team.The RoleManage end-to-end shipment execution in accordance with contractual terms and regulations.Handle shipping documentation, port declarations, insurance applications, and LC preparation and negotiation directly with banks.Verify and process payments to suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses; generate customer invoices.Perform warehouse management activities including receipts, releases, stock reconciliation, and billings.Monitor shipment status, cashflow, and receivables; follow up on delayed payments.Coordinate with office and warehouse providers on customs documentation and month-end reconciliation.What we are looking for3–5 years of relevant trade operations experience.Experience in non-ferrous commodities such as Aluminium, Base Metals, or Molybdenum preferred; container shipment experience is a plus.Knowledge of UCP600, LC negotiation, and Incoterms (CIF, CFR, Ex Works).Familiarity with LME pricing and warehousing rules an advantage.Grey Tree Pte Ltd | EA Licence No. 24S2401 | Marcus Neo | RN R23116033
