Trading Systems Engineer - AmsterdamWant to work at the heart of a fast-paced electronic trading environment where technology directly impacts trading performance?We're looking for a Trading Systems Engineer to support and optimize mission-critical trading platforms. You'll work closely with traders and developers to ensure maximum system uptime, troubleshoot production issues, automate processes, and improve the reliability of low-latency trading infrastructure. What You'll DoSupport and monitor proprietary trading systems in production.Troubleshoot issues across applications, infrastructure, market data, and exchange connectivity.Automate operational processes, deployments, and monitoring.Collaborate with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to maintain optimal trading performance.Support software releases and drive operational excellence across the production environment. What We're Looking ForExperience supporting Linux-based production systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, multicast, routing).Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Nice to HaveTrading systems or financial markets experience.FIX protocol knowledge.Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana experience.Docker, Ansible, or Chef exposure.Experience in high-performance or low-latency environments.
