Traffic Management Operative

We are currently looking for Traffic Management Operatives to join our team working across Aberdeenshire.This is a great opportunity for experienced Traffic Management Operatives looking for ongoing work within a growing company, supporting a range of projects throughout the area.The Role:You will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management systems, ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.Duties may include:Oversee the management of traffic flow within designated areas, ensuring vehicles and pedestrians move safely and efficiently.Set up, maintain, and remove traffic signage, barriers, and cones to direct traffic according to operational needs.Conduct routine inspections of traffic control equipment and report any maintenance or repair requirements promptly.Communicate clearly with drivers, colleagues, and site visitors to provide directions and ensure compliance with safety protocols.Assist in managing site access points by verifying credentials and controlling entry for authorized personnel and vehicles.Support management in implementing safety procedures during peak times or special events to minimize risks.Document all activities related to traffic management, including incidents or irregularities, through detailed reporting.Minimum Requirements:Valid M1 / M2 Traffic Management qualificationFull UK manual driving licenceAbility to work safely as part of a teamReliable, punctual and professional approachWillingness to travel to sites across AberdeenshireDesirable:M5 qualificationPrevious experience working within traffic management, telecoms, civils or utilitiesAdditional Traffic Management qualifications and tickets
