Trainee Analyst

Job Purpose: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Management Trainee to join the BaaS team and support data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management, dashboard development, automation, and business analysis while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, a keen interest in data-driven decision-making, and a willingness to learn emerging technologies and analytical tools. The trainee will contribute to generating meaningful insights, improving reporting processes, and supporting business strategies through accurate and reliable data analysisJob Responsibilities (JR): Actionable Support data collection, extraction, and preparation activities to enable accurate reporting, dashboarding, and business analysisHelp monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies to ensure accurate reporting.Contribute to data cleaning, formatting, and organization activities using analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.Assist in maintaining and updating existing reports, dashboards, and analytical models.Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.Work closely with business and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and business challenges.Help maintain historical datasets and support trend analysis and performance monitoring activities.Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.Educational Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.• Certifications in Python programming, data analytics are a plus.Key SkillsFresher graduate or up to 1 year of internship/project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, MIS, or a related field.Basic understanding of Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and automation.Working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis techniques.Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage.Understanding of data validation, and transformation concepts.Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Eagerness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and work in a collaborative environment.Major Stakeholders (intra team and cross functional stakeholders, who would need to be interacted with for discharging duties)Business functionsSupport functionsTechnology Teams
