Team members gain exposure to diverse projects, structured training, and opportunities to grow within the construction estimation field.Role Description The Trainee Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi. The individual in this role will assist senior estimators with quantity take-offs, cost calculations, and preparation of bid documents for construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, entering data into estimation software, organizing project documentation, and supporting the preparation of reports and pricing breakdowns. The Trainee Estimation Engineer will collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements, update estimates as designs evolve, and maintain accurate records of assumptions and calculations. The role includes guided training, mentorship, and performance feedback to help the trainee progress toward independent estimation responsibilities.Qualifications Foundational knowledge of construction engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline, supported by a relevant diploma or degree.Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.Basic proficiency with MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with estimation or CAD software is an advantage.Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in calculations and documentation.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Willingness to learn industry standards and estimation methodologies, and to follow established processes and guidelines.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a project-driven environment.Prior internship or academic project experience in construction or cost estimation is a plus but not required.
