Trainee Lawyer

Papatriantafyllou & Thanasenari is seeking a Trainee Lawyer to join its team in Athens.We are looking for a motivated law graduate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in developing a solid foundation in legal practice.As part of our team, you will work closely with experienced lawyers and gain practical exposure to litigation, case preparation and selected corporate and commercial advisory matters.THE ROLEYour responsibilities will include:Conducting legal and case-law research;Assisting in the drafting of pleadings, legal memoranda and other legal documents;Supporting the preparation and handling of litigation matters;Assisting with court filings and other procedural matters before courts and public authorities;Reviewing legal and factual documentation and preparing case files; andAssisting in the drafting and review of commercial agreements and other legal documentation.The position offers meaningful exposure to legal practice and the opportunity to develop strong legal reasoning, drafting skills and professional judgement.CANDIDATE PROFILEThe ideal candidate will have:A degree in Law from a Greek university;Eligibility to register, or current registration, as a Trainee Lawyer with a Greek Bar Association;Excellent command of written and spoken Greek and English;Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills;Attention to detail, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility; andThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Postgraduate studies or previous exposure to a law firm environment will be considered an advantage.ABOUT USPapatriantafyllou & Thanasenari is an Athens-based boutique law firm with a strong focus on business litigation and commercial disputes, alongside selected advisory and transactional work.Our approach combines rigorous legal analysis and courtroom experience with a practical understanding of the commercial considerations underlying each matter.HOW TO APPLYTo apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in joining our Firm to info@pathlawfirm.gr, with the subject line: “Trainee Lawyer Application”.Applications will be treated in strict confidence.
