Applicants can expect a work culture that values personalized attention, ethical practice, and practical legal solutions.Role Description The Trainee Lawyer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman, Jordan. The Trainee Lawyer will support senior lawyers by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, preparing case files, and assisting in the review of contracts and financial claims. Daily tasks may include attending client meetings, supporting case preparation for criminal and cyber-crime matters, and organizing documentation for court submissions. The role also involves monitoring relevant legal developments in Jordanian law and cybersecurity regulations, summarizing findings, and contributing to legal strategies under supervision. The Trainee Lawyer is expected to maintain strict confidentiality, demonstrate attention to detail, and uphold the firm’s ethical and professional standards.Qualifications Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret criminal, cyber-crime, and contractual law.Competence in drafting legal documents, case summaries, and correspondence in clear and accurate legal English and Arabic.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases, deadlines, and administrative tasks.High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment in dealing with sensitive information.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with clients.Proficiency with standard office software and basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and digital evidence handling.Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; eligibility or intention to be admitted to the Jordanian Bar is an advantage.Interest in criminal law, cyber-crime, and contract disputes, with a willingness to learn and develop under supervision.
