We’re looking for someone with the right personality, work ethic and, most importantly, a genuine passion for sports cards and/or TCG.If you spend your spare time following new releases, collecting cards, watching breaks, opening Pokémon or One Piece, following football cards or checking what the latest cards are selling for, this could be the perfect opportunity to turn that interest into a career.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll initially work alongside our experienced team and learn how the business operates, including:Helping customers in-storeLearning about our Sports and TCG productsKeeping displays stocked, organised and looking greatReceiving and organising new productHelping with Pokémon, One Piece and other TCG releasesLearning more about football, basketball and other sports cardsSorting cards following live breaksSleeving, top-loading and protecting customers’ cardsSorting teams, players and break orders accuratelyPacking and preparing break orders for dispatchHelping prepare products for upcoming live breaksAssisting our breakers during live streamsLearning how our live breaking operation works from start to finishGradually learning how to break products yourselfFor the right person, there will be an opportunity to progress into hosting live breaks and becoming part of the on-camera Kaboom team.We’ll teach you the technical side – we’re looking for someone with the personality and enthusiasm to learn.Who We’re Looking ForYou don’t need a huge CV.We’d rather find someone who:Is genuinely passionate about trading cardsHas good knowledge of either Sports Cards, Pokémon, One Piece or TCGWants to learn more about both Sports and TCGIs friendly and confident speaking to customersIs reliable and hardworkingHas excellent attention to detailIs comfortable working as part of a teamCan work accurately when sorting and packing cardsIs willing to learn and take responsibilityHas an outgoing personality or would be interested in developing their confidence on cameraUnderstands the excitement and culture around collecting and breakingKnowledge of Topps, Panini, Pokémon, One Piece, PSA, grading, Whatnot, eBay or live breaking would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.ProgressionThis isn’t intended to be just another retail job.We want to find someone who can grow with Kaboom Cards UK.You’ll have the opportunity to learn about:Sports Cards • TCG • Live Breaking • Grading • E-commerce • Card Shows • New Releases • Customer Service • Packing & Fulfilment • Live StreamingAs you develop, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility and potentially become one of our live breakers/hosts.
