The Trainer & Assessor is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating training programs for pathology collections, as well as undertaking assessments of capability across the collections workforceQualifications5+ years pathology collections experience including Cert 3 in Pathology CollectionsRelevant vocational education and training qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent) and experience delivering competency-based training.Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs in healthcare, diagnostics, pathology, or a related technical environment.Strong assessment skills, including developing assessment tools, conducting practical and theoretical assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with operational and clinical teams.Solid organisational and documentation skills, including maintaining training records, tracking compliance, and meeting regulatory and accreditation requirements.Proficiency with basic digital tools and learning technologies (e.g., learning management systems, presentation software, virtual training platforms).Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a healthcare setting.Ability to work around Melbourne and regional Victoria.
