Location: IndoreSalary range: Up to 25K to 45K MonthlyEducational QualificationDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution.Candidates with relevant technical or laboratory certification will be preferred.Qualification should be aligned with the requirements of the respective laboratory.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesAssist faculty members and students in conducting laboratory practicals, experiments, demonstrations, and projects.Prepare and arrange laboratory equipment, instruments, materials, chemicals, tools, and other resources before practical sessions.Ensure that all laboratory equipment and instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and kept in working condition.Maintain proper stock registers, inventory records, issue/return records, and laboratory documentation.Support faculty members during practical classes, examinations, workshops, seminars, and other academic activities.Assist students in the proper handling and operation of laboratory equipment under faculty supervision.Ensure cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the laboratory.Follow and implement laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and university guidelines.Monitor the availability of consumables and raise timely requests for procurement or replenishment.Report damaged, defective, or malfunctioning equipment to the Lab In-charge / concerned authority.Assist in the installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.Ensure proper storage and labelling of equipment, materials, chemicals, samples, and other laboratory resources, wherever applicable.Maintain records of laboratory usage and ensure that equipment is issued and returned properly.Support faculty and students during research projects, student projects, practical assessments, and academic activities.Assist in maintaining laboratory readiness for inspections, audits, accreditation, and statutory requirements.Coordinate with the concerned departments for repair, maintenance, procurement, and other laboratory requirements.Ensure responsible use of university resources and minimise wastage of laboratory materials.Perform any other laboratory-related duties assigned by the Lab In-charge / HOD / University Management.Required Skills & CompetenciesBasic knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.Good practical and technical skills.Ability to maintain records and inventory.Basic computer and documentation skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong sense of safety and responsibility.Ability to work effectively with faculty members and students.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
