Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Title: Technical Trainer – WaterJob Location: Doha, QatarIndustry: Utilities / Water & Wastewater / Infrastructure / TrainingJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer – Water to deliver technical training programs focused on water engineering systems, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and utility operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and conducting classroom and practical training sessions, evaluating trainee competency, maintaining training facilities, and supporting certification processes while ensuring high training standards.Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:Experience:Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, preferably within the water utility, water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, or related industries.Previous experience in technical training, instruction, or workforce development is highly preferred.Education:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, water distribution systems, and utility operations.Experience designing and delivering technical training programs.Ability to develop training manuals, presentations, assessments, and practical exercises.Proficient in evaluating trainee competency and preparing technical reports.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Mandatory Criteria:Certified Train the Trainer (TTT) qualification.Bilingual in English and Arabic with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong coaching, mentoring, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Experience working in utility, infrastructure, or water sector organizations is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver technical training programs, workshops, and practical sessions related to water engineering systems and operations.Plan, organize, and coordinate training schedules, resources, equipment, and instructional materials.Evaluate trainee performance through written assessments, examinations, and practical evaluations.Lead, coach, mentor, and supervise trainees throughout the training process.Develop, review, and continuously improve training manuals, presentations, technical materials, and assessment methods.Maintain training laboratories, classrooms, equipment, tools, and technical resources in good working condition.Assess trainee competency and support certification processes in accordance with organizational standards.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards during all training activities.Prepare training records, progress reports, attendance records, and competency evaluations.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness and technical capability.
