JOB PURPOSETalent Development Specialist manages technical training activities for Khazeen to develop and enhance employees’ knowledge, skills and competencies required to achieve the business objectives of Khazeen. The role holder manages training centers and relationship with external training providers.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReviews of Job Descriptions to establish skills requirements of job incumbents (competencies matrix).Reviews of Performance Appraisals to assess performance gaps.Meets with business line managers in coordination with the section manager to understand the required skills needed for employees to perform their duties accurately.Designs individual training plans in line with career path.Develops training programs in line with business strategy to ensure that effective training programs are developed for all employees.Interviews/assesses job incumbents for training gaps and manage training programs to ensure the right training for the right candidates is delivered.Develops an effective induction program for new employees joining the company.Provides induction training programs to new Khazeen employees to ensure that they attain all necessary knowledge about the company, its policies, procedures and other information that may be necessary for them to perform their duties satisfactorily.Ensures regular monitoring of training programs using evaluation forms filled by trainees after each training session.Evaluates and analyzes feedback from trainees and take corrective action in coordination with the department manager, where necessary, to ensure that the employees of the company get the highest quality training.Contacts line-managers on a regular basis to get feedback about employees’ performance after training.Processes the training billing claims and requests with external vendors.Builds and develops relationships with department heads to ease making the training needs analysis and planning for training.Develops relationships with external training vendors, freelancer trainers, training consultancy offices, and logistics providers.Participates and supports training eventsMaintains HR training systems, databases, and recordsEnsures that all training data and documents are saved and backed up properlyPerforms other related duties or tasks assigned by line manager.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferably in HR, Business Administration or equivalentYears of ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.CompetenciesCore Competencies Customer FocusInterpersonal Sensitivity & TeamworkAccountability & ProfessionalismCommitment to Health & SafetyLearning & Innovation
