Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Training and Quality Manager role based at Wooden Coffee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The role is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously updating training programs for baristas, supervisors, and support staff, while ensuring consistent service standards and product quality across all locations.Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), leading workshops and on-the-job coaching, and monitoring employee performance against defined quality standards and KPIs.The Training and Quality Manager will conduct regular store audits, review customer feedback, and collaborate with Operations leadership to implement process improvements and corrective actions.The role will also be responsible for maintaining training records, preparing reports on training effectiveness and quality trends, and supporting new store openings and onboarding initiatives to ensure teams are aligned with Wooden Coffee’s brand standards, safety requirements, and hygiene practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector, preferably within the coffee or café industry.Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, ideally within hospitality, retail, or food and beverage environments.Strong background in quality assurance, including developing standards, conducting audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Proficient in preparing training content, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with the ability to facilitate workshops and coach team members at different levels.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate employees, provide constructive feedback, and build strong cross-functional relationships.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple training and quality projects simultaneously.Familiarity with health, safety, food hygiene, and operational standards relevant to coffee shops and food service operations.Ability to analyze performance data and customer feedback to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and recommend practical, data-informed solutions.Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with flexibility to visit different branches and support new store openings as needed.Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a coffee shop, café, or restaurant environment is highly beneficial.Relevant professional certifications in training, quality management, or related fields are considered an advantage.
