The role is responsible for identifying learning needs, developing effective training programmes, and ensuring training activities deliver measurable improvements in knowledge, skills, performance, and employee engagement.Key responsibilities include conducting training needs analysis, developing annual training plans, designing learning content and programmes, coordinating training delivery, and evaluating programme effectiveness. The Training Manager will work closely with business leaders, HR teams, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to identify capability gaps and create targeted learning solutions.The role also involves managing training resources, learning platforms, schedules, budgets, and external training providers where required. The successful candidate will monitor training outcomes, gather participant feedback, analyse learning metrics, and continuously improve programmes to ensure they remain relevant, practical, and aligned with business priorities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Education, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of learning and development principles, instructional design, and adult learning methodologies.Ability to conduct training needs analysis and translate business requirements into effective learning programmes.Strong skills in training programme design, facilitation, presentation, and evaluation.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong project management and organisational abilities, with attention to detail and effective time management.Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning tools, and training technologies.Ability to develop engaging training materials, presentations, guides, and other learning resources.Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure training effectiveness and interpret learning metrics.Ability to manage multiple training programmes, priorities, and stakeholders effectively.Creative, adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and development.Strong understanding of employee development, performance improvement, and workplace learning culture.
