قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجThe Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for the retail teams across Mohamed Hilal Group's perfume brands. The role will focus on strengthening product knowledge, fragrance expertise, selling skills, customer experience, leadership capabilities, and overall retail performance.The Training Manager will work closely with Retail, Brand, Marketing, HR, and Store Operations teams to identify training needs and ensure that all employees have the knowledge and skills required to represent the brands and deliver a premium customer experience.2. Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement a comprehensive annual training strategy for the perfume retail division.Conduct regular training needs analysis based on business requirements, employee performance, customer feedback, and new product launches.Develop structured training calendars for new joiners, existing employees, Store Managers, and retail leadership teams.Ensure training programs are aligned with the objectives and positioning of each perfume brand.Establish training standards and learning frameworks across the retail network.Perfume & Product TrainingDevelop and deliver comprehensive product knowledge training covering:Fragrance families and categories.Fragrance notes and compositions.Perfume ingredients and raw materials.Brand heritage, story, and positioning.Product differentiation and USPs.New launches and seasonal collections.Ensure Retail Advisors and Store Managers have strong knowledge of the complete product portfolio.Work closely with Brand and Marketing teams to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.Translate technical fragrance information into engaging and practical learning content for retail teams.Sales & Customer Experience TrainingDevelop training programs focused on luxury selling techniques and customer engagement.Coach retail teams on needs-based selling, consultation techniques, cross-selling, and upselling.Develop training around fragrance discovery and customer profiling.Strengthen employees' ability to recommend fragrances based on customer preferences and requirements.Train teams on handling objections, closing sales, and building customer relationships.Ensure employees understand and consistently deliver the required customer experience standards.Retail Team DevelopmentConduct onboarding and induction training for new retail employees.Develop structured training programs for Retail Advisors, Supervisors, Store Managers, and Area Managers.Deliver coaching and development programs for high-potential employees.Support leadership development and succession planning within the retail division.Provide ongoing coaching and on-the-job training to improve employee performance.Training DeliveryConduct classroom, workshop, store-based, and virtual training sessions.Conduct regular store visits to observe employee performance and identify development opportunities.Use role plays, product demonstrations, practical exercises, assessments, and coaching sessions to enhance learning effectiveness.Ensure training is engaging, interactive, and relevant to the retail environment.Support training requirements for new store openings and brand launches.Training Materials & ContentDevelop and maintain training manuals, product guides, presentations, assessments, and learning materials.Create training modules for product knowledge, fragrance expertise, sales techniques, customer service, and leadership.Ensure training materials are regularly updated following product launches, brand updates, and business changes.Develop quick-reference guides and learning materials that retail teams can use on the shop floor.Assessment & Performance ManagementDevelop knowledge assessments and practical evaluations to measure training effectiveness.Conduct regular product knowledge and selling-skills assessments.Track employee training completion and performance.Work with Store Managers and Retail Management to identify employees requiring additional coaching.Analyse training results and recommend corrective or development actions.Training Effectiveness & ReportingEstablish and monitor training KPIs.Measure the impact of training on sales performance, product knowledge, customer experience, and employee productivity.Prepare regular training reports for Retail and HR management.Maintain accurate training records and employee development data.Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs.3. Experience & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.5–8 years of experience in retail training, preferably within the perfume, fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, luxury, or fashion industry.Strong experience designing and delivering training programs for retail teams.Proven experience in perfume/fragrance product training is highly preferred.Strong understanding of luxury retail sales and customer experience.Experience managing training across multiple stores or locations.Experience working with international or premium/luxury brands is an advantage.Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.6. Language & Technology SkillsStrong English communication skills, both written and verbal.Arabic language is preferred and would be an advantage in a GCC retail environment.Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other presentation/training tools.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.8. MobilityThe role requires regular travel between stores and retail locations to conduct training, coaching, assessments, and store observations. Flexibility to work weekends and outside standard office hours may be required based on retail business needs.
