Location: Kathmandu, Nepal — onsite, 6 days a week Type: Full-time, permanent Reports to: Head of TechnologyAbout Expert EducationExpert Education is a student recruitment and migration business operating across 23 countries with around 1,200 staff. We help students find the right course and institution, and we manage the application, admission and visa process end to end. We're unusual in our sector in that we build our own technology — rather than renting a generic platform, we run a proprietary CRM built in-house specifically for student recruitment and migration, developed and improved continuously by our own engineering team. The RoleThis is a newly created role that owns training and enablement for the entire group. You won't inherit someone else's curriculum. You'll decide what training this organisation needs across our CRM, our business processes and the everyday tools our teams work in — then design it, build it, and make it land in every region we operate in.One thing to be clear about: you cannot personally train 1,200 people in 23 countries, and we wouldn't want you to try. This role is about building something that works without you in the room — self-serve materials, capable local champions in each region, and reinforcement that lasts long after a session ends.If your strength is standing in front of a group and you want to do that all day, this isn't the right role. If you want to build something that lifts how an entire organisation works, it is.What You'll DoFind out what teams actually need — by talking to branches, sitting with users, and following the evidence rather than assuming.Design role-based learning paths across our CRM, business processes and everyday tools — because a counsellor in Kathmandu, a case officer in Sydney and a branch manager in London need different things.Create materials that stand on their own — short how-to videos, written guides, in-system help, and structured onboarding for new joiners.Build a champion network across regions, so every office has someone local who can answer questions in their own time zone and language.Drive adoption, not attendance — your measure of success is whether people are confidently working the new way weeks later, not how many attended.Measure it and report honestly — and feed what you learn back to the teams who own our systems and processes.Who We're Open ToWe're deliberately open on background, because people who are good at this don't all come from the same place.Route A — you come from training. 3+ years in training, L&D or enablement, including designing programmes rather than only delivering someone else's. Experience training people on business software — a CRM, ERP or similar operational platform.Route B — you come from support, operations or coordination. No formal training background needed. 3+ years in a hands-on role, ideally across more than one function, plus a real pattern of helping people learn even though it was never your job title — you're the one colleagues ask, you wrote the guide, you onboarded the new starters. Bring examples, and bring genuine appetite for making it your actual job. What You'll Need — either routeYou can teach. Not present — teach. You can break something down and leave someone able to do it themselves. We assess this directly in the interview with a live exercise.Strong spoken and written English — you'll work with teams across our regions, including Australia. You think at scale — you reach for materials, champions and self-serve content rather than more sessions. You can learn a complex business system deeply and quickly, well enough to teach it to people who use it daily. You can influence people you have no authority over — most of your audience will never report to you.You say "I don't know" when you don't, then go and find out.Able to work onsite in Kathmandu, five days a week.Nice to have: international education, student recruitment or migration experience · delivery across multiple countries and time zones · LMS experience · instructional design or adult learning background · Nepali and/or Hindi alongside English · video and guide creation · experience supporting a system rollout. Not required: a technical background, or a formal training qualification. We care whether you can do it.Why You'll Want This RoleGenuine ownership — first dedicated training hire for the group. You define the function.Real reach — 1,200 people, 23 countries. Your work is visible across the whole organisation.Proprietary technology — work on a platform built in-house for our industry, with direct access to the people who build it, so what you learn from users actually shapes the product.A direct line — you report to the Head of Technology. No layer between you and the person who can act on what you find. How to ApplySend your CV and a short note on one time you helped someone learn something — what they couldn't do, what you did, and how you knew it worked. A formal programme is fine. So is onboarding a colleague or writing the guide your team still uses. We're interested in how you think about it, not how senior the example is.If you've built anything — a guide, a checklist, a short video, a learning path — send it. We'd rather see the work than read about it.
