قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Title: Transaction Monitoring Analyst (L1)Location: St. Louis, MOJob SummaryThe Transaction Monitoring Analyst (L1) is responsible for the first line of review in the transaction monitoring lifecycle. This role focuses on high-volume triage of alerts using predefined playbooks to identify and clear risk-irrelevant alerts while escalating potential risks for deeper investigation.Key ResponsibilitiesReview transaction monitoring alerts generated by monitoring systems in accordance with established procedures and playbooks.Perform initial reviews of:Customer KYC profiles and risk ratingsTransaction history and behavioral patternsRelevant customer and account informationConduct initial risk categorization of alerts, including identifying risk-irrelevant and potentially suspicious activities.Clear alerts that meet predefined risk-irrelevant criteria with appropriate documentation and rationale.Escalate alerts exhibiting unusual, complex, or higher-risk characteristics to L2 Analysts for further investigation.Accurately document review steps, observations, and decisions within the case management system.Ensure reviews are completed in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in alert handling and case documentation.Collaborate with L2 Analysts and Team Leads on escalated cases.Provide clear and concise escalation summaries with supporting information.Support responses to inquiries from Compliance, Quality Assurance, or Audit teams regarding L1 reviews.Meet or exceed performance metrics, including:Average Handling Time (AHT)Throughput (alerts processed per day)Quality scores measuring accuracy and completenessIdentify recurring issues or process gaps and recommend improvements to playbooks and procedures.Participate in training programs to stay current on AML typologies, red flags, regulatory expectations, and system enhancements.Required SkillsStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to follow structured procedures and predefined playbooks.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work with case management and transaction monitoring tools.High level of integrity, discretion, and professional ethics.Preferred SkillsBasic understanding of AML/CFT concepts and transaction monitoring principles.Familiarity with KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and banking or financial products.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in AML, transaction monitoring, financial crime, or related operations roles.Candidates with relevant academic backgrounds may also be considered.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
