It manages assigned sourcing initiatives, maintains strong stakeholder and supplier relationships, contributes to performance excellence and achievement of KPIs, supports Supplier Relationship Management, and handles data and reporting requirements as directed by the Procurement Manager. Work is guided by corporate policies and requires sound judgment and independent decision making.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesExecute end-to-end procurement activities for assigned purchase requisitions (PRs) of materials and or services in accordance with company policies and procedures.Read, understand the requirements, make technical clarifications and create procurement strategy Manage RFQs/RFPs, obtain competitive quotations, perform commercial evaluations, and recommend suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.Maintain a short PR to PO cycle, reflecting the urgency and nature of requests.Plan and execute commercial negotiations to achieve best value for the organization. Ensure timely placement of POs and proactively monitor supplier performance and ensure PO to delivery lead times meet agreed planned dates.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify technical and commercial requirements and resolve procurement-related issues. Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP-SAP and Sourcing Platform with complete and timely information.Support PO execution, amendments, and purchase order administration where required.Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates on sourcing status, PR aging, PO cycle time, supplier performance, and delivery risks.Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), ethical procurement practices, and company compliance requirements.Support sourcing strategy development through data analysis, including supply market intelligence, market dynamics, cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.Attend required training programs to maintain capability and compliance.Apply Health & Safety procedures within procurement activities (POs/contracts).Follow Delegation of Authority requirements to obtain necessary approvals for POs and contracts.Support the promotion of a strong safety culture by actively participating in safety initiatives and fostering safe work practices. Assist in managing safety risks, monitoring equipment, and contributing to performance outcomes. Ensure compliance with EHS legislative requirements and the Company s EHS policies, procedures, and standards among team members and contractors.
