Transformer Quality Management Specialist

Position Summary:Responsible for establishing and leading a full life-cycle quality management system for the Saudi transformer factory, covering procurement, manufacturing processes, factory inspection, and after-sales quality management. The role ensures compliance with IEC, SASO, and overseas owner requirements while building a localized quality organization, developing quality talent, and driving continuous improvement across the entire transformer manufacturing operation.Key Responsibilities:Lead the establishment of a full life-cycle Quality Management System covering IQC (Incoming Quality Control), IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), FQC (Factory Quality Control), and after-sales quality management.Develop and maintain English-language quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and quality form templates in compliance with IEC, SASO, and owner audit requirements.Oversee localized incoming material quality control and supplier quality management, including supplier audits, quality assessments, and abnormal quality claim management.Lead internal quality risk and hazard investigations, non-conforming product reviews, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) tracking through to effective closure.Coordinate with overseas customers, owners, and third-party certification bodies during on-site quality audits and inspections.Lead the response to audit findings, organize corrective actions, and ensure timely submission and closure of supporting evidence.Manage overseas customer quality complaints and coordinate cross-functional teams to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop comprehensive corrective action reports.Monitor quality performance, identify recurring issues, and implement preventive measures to reduce product and process-related risks.Train and develop local quality engineers and inspectors, establish a localized quality talent development structure, and support long-term capability building.Conduct regular company-wide quality awareness and quality culture training to promote a strong quality mindset across the organization.Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, testing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are effectively implemented throughout the manufacturing process.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.15+ years of full-process quality management experience in the transformer industry.Proven experience in establishing quality management systems for overseas factories or managing quality for overseas transformer projects/orders.Strong knowledge of IEC and SASO standards, certification requirements, and overseas owner audit requirements.Extensive experience in supplier quality management, non-conformance management, RCA, CAPA, and customer quality complaints.Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills, with experience in developing and mentoring local quality teams.Proficient in English and Arabic.📍 Location: Saudi Arabia
