We help great stories travel farther through translation, dubbing, and production—and we’re building toward telling more and more stories of our own.We care about excellent work, strong relationships, and building a company where talented people enjoy what they do.The RoleWe’re looking for a full-time Translation Coordinator to help manage translation teams for a major international television series being translated into more than 100 languages.This is part project management, part relationship building, and part friendly—but persistent—follow-up.You’ll find and recruit translators, reviewers, and language experts; help them get started; keep their work moving; and make sure completed translations are ready for the next stage of production.You may not personally translate anything. Your job is to help hundreds of people do excellent translation work together—without everything descending into chaos.What You’ll Be DoingFind and recruit translators, reviewers, subject matter experts, and other language resources.Build relationships with language communities, translation organizations, community leaders, and partner organizations.Meet potential team members, assess their experience and availability, and clearly explain the project, deadlines, expectations, and payment structure.Coordinate contracts, onboarding, banking information, tax documentation, and other setup requirements.Keep translation teams connected and moving through WhatsApp, calls, virtual meetings, email, and other platforms.Track progress across many languages at once, follow up consistently, and identify delays before they become major problems.Train translators and reviewers on the translation platform and help troubleshoot technical or workflow issues.Make sure translation and review are completed properly and handed off cleanly to the adaptation, dubbing, and production teams.Maintain accurate records for language status, contacts, contracts, payments, and deliverables.Work with Finance to ensure translators and reviewers are paid accurately and on time.Travel when needed to meet language communities, recruit teams, and strengthen important partnerships.You Might Be a Great Fit If YouAre highly organized and comfortable managing many people, deadlines, and moving pieces at once.Are warm, relational, and able to earn trust across different cultures and backgrounds.Follow up consistently and can hold people accountable without making everyone miserable.Enjoy solving problems and are good at spotting trouble early.Are comfortable working with freelancers, remote teams, community leaders, and people in rural or hard-to-reach locations.Can quickly learn new software and patiently teach it to others.Are confident using spreadsheets, shared files, and project-tracking tools.Communicate clearly and professionally in English.Can work independently while staying closely connected to the wider production team.Are willing to travel within Nepal and internationally when needed.Extra Points If You HaveExperience in project management, localization, translation, production, or operations.Managed translators, freelancers, contractors, or distributed teams.Worked on multilingual projects involving many countries or communities.Experience with translation organizations, NGOs, INGOs, language communities, or international partners.Familiarity with television, film, media, or other long-form content.Experience coordinating contracts, onboarding, invoicing, or freelancer payments.Existing relationships within translation, language, or community organizations.How We’ll Work TogetherYou’ll report to the Project Director and work closely with Finance, technology teams, Script Adapters, and the dubbing and production teams.We need someone who can keep the details straight, keep people encouraged, and keep translation comfortably ahead of production.Practical DetailsLocation: Bhainsepati, Lalitpur, NepalEmployment: Full-timeTravel: Domestic and international travel may be required
