Job description:Position: Transport ManagerCompany: Baykan Enterprises Pty LtdLocation: Albury, NSW – Hybrid RoleSalary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, depending on experience and skillsPosition SummaryBaykan Enterprises Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to manage transport activities through our Albury office. This hybrid role includes both office-based and remote work.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan transport schedules and coordinate customer collections and deliveries.Allocate drivers, vehicles and equipment according to daily operational requirements.Arrange the purchase, servicing and maintenance of vehicles and transport equipment.Communicate with customers, manage bookings and resolve service-related concerns.Ensure goods are handled and transported under conditions that protect their quality.Maintain operational records and prepare transport and performance reports.Ensure transport activities meet workplace safety and relevant regulatory requirements.RequirementsMinimum three years of relevant transport-management experience.Strong communication, leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.Experience with fleet-tracking software such as Teletrac Navman TN360 or MyGeotab.Good understanding of driver scheduling, vehicle management and transport operations.Must live in the Albury-Wodonga area or be willing to relocate.Able to work effectively both remotely and from the Albury office.
